Wellspring’s Thrift Shops provide gently used and affordable clothing, furniture, jewelry, household items, toys, books, art and more to clients and the general public. All items sold in the shops have been donated for sale, and the revenue generated directly funds Wellspring programs and services.
We are pleased to accept items in good, sellable condition such as household and kitchen items, clean clothing that is in season, linens and towels, art, jewelry, books, working/unscratched CDs and DVDs, etc. Due to space limitations, we can only accept three containers of donations at one time (except for furniture donations–please see info below). Also, please note: All donations are tax deductible.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept the following items: Car seats, cribs, baby walkers & the like; Large cabinets, bed frames or large entertainment centers; Used/open toys & stuffed animals; Electronics or large appliances; Hardwired fixtures; Large rugs or custom draperies; Text books, encyclopedias or magazines; VHS or audio cassette tapes
Exciting news! We are adding furniture to our thrift shops! Furniture can now be shopped during our regular Thrift Shop business hours. Stop by and see our beautiful showrooms located in Hull and Weymouth! Our inventory is always changing.
We make it as easy as possible for you to donate your used furniture simply email photos of your donation(s) with your contact information to angela@wellspringmultiservice.org or give us a call 781-800-0246.
We do everything we can to ensure that you receive a timely response to your inquiry. We are unable to take items that are significantly worn, torn, or broken. We do not refurbish or repair. Wellspring can pick up and deliver furniture [by appointment only]. All items up must be located on the first floor/street level and be easily accessible. Smaller pieces of furniture can be delivered directly to the Thrift Shops but must receive prior approval. Please forward pictures for approval. Please do not bring large furniture donations to the Thrift Shops directly.
