Rose Di Pietro

MSN, MBA, RN, most recently served as the Interim CEO and President of South Shore Health. Ms. Di Pietro was responsible for overall operations and innovation in alignment with the goals and strategy of the health care system. She oversaw the system programs which includes South Shore Hospital, South Shore Medical Center, South Shore VNA, South Shore Health Express and Hospice of the South Shore, with over $700M in revenue, 5600 employees and a medical staff of over 950 providers.

Ms. Di Pietro had also served as the system’s Chief Transformation Officer focused on population health management and engaging external continuum partners to position health system for success as an integrated care delivery network and accountable care organization; President of Home and Community Services; Chief Operating Officer of the Physician Ambulatory Enterprise which included South Shore Medical Center, acute care medicine and physician services, Vice President of Clinical, Outpatient and Home Care where she provided administrative oversight for a variety of hospital based and outpatient services such as; the Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Rehabilitation and Respiratory and Neuro-Diagnostics departments; the Center for Wound Healing; the cancer care service line including Breast Care Center, Multi-Specialty Clinics, and Supportive and Palliative Care; in addition to leading the hospitals purchasing, materials management, engineering, security and public safety, transport, nutrition and food services, facilities planning and site management where she oversaw over $125million in capital projects, Director of Clinical Information Systems and Director of Community Services. A nurse by education she has also been certified as an adult nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist. Rose is the current chair of the Advisory Council of South Shore Elders and on the board of Wellspring Multi-Service Center. She has previously served on the boards the American Cancer Society as president, Father Bill’s Place in Quincy as vice president, and on the Home Care Alliance Board. She has served as a panel member for the Athena Power Link Program of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Di Pietro has bachelors and master’s degrees in nursing from Boston College and has a master’s degree in business administration from Anna Maria College.
