Ruth Witmer

Ruth Witmer is a retired educator having worked with diverse learners for over thirty years both as a teacher and an administrator primarily with Quincy Public Schools.   As principal of Lincoln Hancock Community School, she served on the city-wide building committee for a new middle school and also taught a masters level mathematics class for Teach Across America.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree from Lesley University.  Ruth is also a graduate of the National Institute for School Leaders. 

Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ruth and her husband Greg, relocated to Massachusetts in 1985 and reside in Randolph, Massachusetts. 

Ruth enjoys cooking, baking and gardening along with practicing yoga. 

Ruth and Greg have two sons who along with their spouses added two wonderful grandsons to the family.
