Judy Neer

Judy is originally from the Main Line area outside of Philadelphia and is one of five siblings. She attended Marietta College in Ohio and majored in Psychology. She moved to Boston after college and entered the advertising business. The first 20 years were at a couple of local agencies in town as a marketing/account person. After that she became a partner and then President & CEO at a consulting firm called Pile and Company. They worked with clients across the country to find new marketing, advertising, PR and Direct Marketing partners. They also had an association for in-house agencies and a staffing and recruitment business.

Judy’s real passion outside of work was and still is exercise and staying active. She started an exercise accountability business after she retired. Helping people build fitness/movement into their lives. While not a trainer, she is an enthusiast. She did that for a few years and then let it fade away. Judy started to play golf after retirement and that is how Wellspring entered the picture.

She was asked to join the Golf Committee for the upcoming golf tournament.

That lead to becoming a Trustee on the Foundation and now Chair of the Foundation.

Judy lives in Cohasset, MA with her husband Frank. Frank is one of the top agents for Coldwell Banker in Cohasset. They have one daughter who lives in California and is in marketing in the music business.

“What drew me to Wellspring is the range of what they do to help people in need at certain times in their lives. It is way beyond just a food pantry or thrift shop. It is being a legal advocate, providing an education to students that need more than just a traditional classroom, crisis counseling and more. The phrase ‘wrap around approach’ says it all. I want to be a part of making a difference in some’s life”.
