Jane Hassan

Jane Hassan is a small business owner, educator, and has served on several boards and committees. She began her journey with Wellspring in 2023 working on the gardens at 814 Nantasket Avenue. She was nominated to the trustee board in 2024 and looks forward to sharing her creative expertise and “teamwork” mantra with the Wellspring community.

Jane’s career path has been working in various aspects of the interior design/ architecture industry. Over the years she has worked for Residential Architectural and Interior Design firms. She currently is a sole practitioner offering design consulting, programing, space planning and everything required from beginning to end in an interior design project. Her focus is primarily residential.

Throughout her career she has been both practitioner and educator.  She is currently a part-time Professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Design.  She has held part-time faculty positions at Suffolk University’s Art & Design Interior Architecture Program and at The Boston Architectural College in Boston

Jane’s leadership experiences highlights include:   Professional Development Director – Board Member ASID New England Chapter, President to the Board of ASID New England Chapter and Career Day Committee (a yearly educational conference for New England area Interior Design Students)

As her journey continues Jane hopes to build relationships and educate those in our community about Wellspring.
