George Toma

George Toma is the CEO of his family business, George Washington Toma TV & Appliance, which has been serving the community since 1953 with locations in Weymouth and Brockton. Founded by his father, George Washington Toma—born on February 22nd, Washington’s Birthday—the business has built a reputation for quality sales and service of all major appliances and televisions. 

George has long been active in both business and community leadership. He is a Past Chair of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and the Arc of the South Shore, served for 40 years as Director of Powerlifting for Special Olympics Massachusetts, and currently sits on the Board of the New England Appliance Group, his industry’s regional buying group. 

A Weymouth native, George now lives in Hull with his wife, Marci. They are proud parents of two adult daughters. Outside of work, George enjoys time with his family (including their three cats), playing ice hockey, and riding his motorcycle.
