K. Douglas Briggs

Doug is Executive Chair of the Quincy Mutual Fire Insurance Company. He is currently the Chair of the Friendship Home Board of Directors and was on the South Shore YMCA Board for many years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Babson College.

Doug was introduced to Wellspring through his wife Claudia who is a big fan of the thrift shop. They both believe strongly in Wellspring’s mission. They live in Hingham and enjoy hockey, travel, and spending time with their family and grandchildren.
